Stunning Views & Extraordinary Journeys

DISCOVER THE SIMPLE PLEASURES OF SUMMER FUN AT RUBY FALLS

As the temperature gets warmer, we feel the urge to take a deep breath and slow down the pace of our busy schedules. The longer days encourage us to enjoy the simple pleasures summer brings and step outside to enjoy the abundant beauty that surrounds us. Through warm rays of sun or steady drops of rain, the natural wonders of Chattanooga are on display with rolling mountains, subterranean caves, and winding streams and rivers.

A great place to experience the breathtaking landscape is from the top of Lookout Mountain Tower at Ruby Falls. Showcasing sweeping views of the Cumberland Plateau and Tennessee River, this vantage point simply cannot be beat.

If you’re looking for an adrenaline boost, capture the epic scenery while soaring through the treetops on a zip line at Ruby Falls High Point ZIP Adventure. This separately ticketed attraction for beginner and experienced thrill-seekers includes a 40-foot climbing tower with multiple routes of varying difficulty.

Some of the most intriguing sights at Ruby Falls can be discovered by descending 260 feet on a glass-front elevator to explore a cave deep in the heart of Lookout Mountain! The Cave Walk adventure features the awe-inspiring, thundering underground waterfall, highlighted by a captivating light show and ancient geological formations along the cavern trail.

Fun facts…The temperature inside the cave is 60 degrees year-round, making it a perfect escape from the summer heat; rainfall increases the flow of the waterfall, meaning rainy days are a terrific time to visit; and access to Lookout Mountain Tower is always included with your cave adventure ticket.

For a special summer treat, plan to dine at the Castle Café, located in the historic limestone castle at Ruby Falls. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the café offers flatbread pizzas, wraps, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and local craft beer on tap.

Planning your visit to Ruby Falls is easy with timed-entry tickets sold online. To avoid missing out on cave adventures, purchase your tickets before you arrive, as they tend to sell out in advance during the summer. Don’t forget; reservations are required.

Visit RubyFalls.com to plan your trip and purchase tickets. Your summer of fun and natural wonders awaits!
